Sad day isnt it? We just had ours out this past weekend and might be able to squeeze in one more weekend trip next month before I winterize.

I am so glad that I don't stop camping for the winter. I will winterize the camper this coming weekend, but I plan on camping most weekends, unless the roads are covered with snow.

It got down to 3C last light......had frost on our cars....so I timed it perfectly....we have a site booked for Canada Day next year for a big extended family trip. It will have electricity so I will not have to pack the gen....I also have my sights on a 3000 Honda 3000isc2 generator that I will be looking at tomorrow.

I just winterized mine after work tonight. Doing the RV antifreeze is so simple! We are planning a trip to the (USA) east coast...Boston and Cape Cod next summer. I already put a reminder in my cell phone for 6 months in advance booking on Reserveamerica!

Just put mine in cold storage for the winter. It was actually a nice week here, but I had undercoated, painted all the wheels both sides, washedwaxed, serviced the roof and painted the bottom trim and A-frame. It was all ready so, I just called it lol.

We are fortunate here in Northern VA to be able to run the year around without too much problem with long term freezing. I just carry the small 12VDC tankless compressor and blow-out plug and can quickly purge all the water from the lines in a quick five minutes time. Here at the CAMP BACKYARD I have two trailers connected to the garage 120VAC receptacles using 10-gauge (10-3) extension cords and both trailers are ready to use the whole winter.
Its a great place to just get out of the house sometimes and watch some NASCAR or FOOTBALL or spend the night next to the woods...
With the unknown events coming up in DEC this year associated with the DEC 2012 thing no one is sure what climate changes will come with what-ever happens to us when our sun aligns up with the center of the Milky way on this cycle in the Universe. Alot of climate changes are already happening all over the world now...
My OFF-ROAD POPUP camper with its beefed up battery system is also a neat thing to always have available for long term power outages. We have lived off the POPUP batteries a couple times this past year when the local country power outages occurred. One period was over a week. We never missed a beat and got to share our patio with local neighbors every night watching HDTV. Just like a block party every night. My other neighbor and myself pulled our 2KW generators around the neighborhood keeping folks fridges powered up a couple hours a day to save their freezer items.

Foot of snow on the roof of our 213 this morning, had to break out the snowblower to clear the 3 foot high burm left by the snowplow across the driveway.DW laughed, it was only last week I was complaining about being sick of cutting the grass this year.

Assuming you don't have a ladder or other appendages on your X213, what size cover did you buy? I will measure my rig today. I just spoke with Traveland RV in Langley and they want $600 for the Adco withy wheel covers. Wow. $$$

22 foot Adco Tyvek RV cover. I ordered and purchased it at Al's RV repair in Delta. I did not buy the designer series. It was about $400 with the wheel covers. They do not stock it, they ordered it for me and they are a really good RV shop.
