Add a generator

Hello All,
I am new to this so excuse me if I make mistakes on the forum.
Just purchased a Jayco 222 Toy hauler and wanted to mount a generator on the front that will supply sufficient power for AC and everything else. I was thinking about a Champion Power Equipment 76533 3800 Watt Dual Fuel.
The price seems very reasonable and the dual fuel would allow me to use propain and not have to have a gas can with me. Any suggestions on a generator and box or housing to cover the generator.
Also wanted to install a power cut over relay from generator to switch from camp power to generator power.
Any suggestions from fellow owners would be grateful.

Thank You
Jason

How much propane can you carry on your trailer? There certainly are pluses for using propane, however, generators aren't as efficient using propane compared to gasoline.

And the power output isn't as great either.

Make sure it is an inverter generator.

One thing to keep in mind is that generators are a lot quieter sitting on the ground than they are mounted to the frame of a trailer.
