Furnace/AC fan question

I recently changed my manual T-stat over to a digital style one. I was at my storage site today and was on battery power. I noticed only the lights really worked. Is that right? I knew the outlets wouldn't work since they need shore power but thought the fan could run off of the battery. My T-stat did display the temp on it so I know it had power. I'm just wondering now if I made a mistake connecting the fan wire. I wasn't sure how I could check this without obviously hitching up and bringing my rig home and connecting to shore power which I didn't feel like doing.

heater blower fan will work on 12V. Air conditioning fan will not.

If your asking about the a/c fan, nope. Only on shore power.

Thanks for clarifying.
I did turn the T-stat to heat and to fan ON very briefly but it didn't come on, but then again the propane was off but that shouldn't make a difference I don't think.
I will go back again tomorrow and test it again.

Fan on furnace won't come on until the thermostat calls for heat. Fan switch only works the a/c fan.
