Pinnacle question ?

On the flush mounted ceiling lights I have one that came off while on the trip home this winter. To reinstall you locate the slots push up and turn clockwise ? That's simple enough ! My problem is how do you get enough grip to snap them into the locked position ?? Being flush their is no way to grip them . Is their a special tool ? How do you do it ? Any help would be appreciated .

Ours lenses do not really have a "Locked Position"

I just turn them clockwise until they get hand tight, have not had one come off yet.

If you tighten them too much I guess you could break the glass lens.

Agree Rob....the 'puck' lenses are just hand tightened.

Never had one fall off but have changed a bulb or two.

BIL had one fall off once on his Eagle 351MKTS FW while towing to a CG..., and he didn't know it until he opened his slide....... CRUNCH! The slide jammed about 6" short of being fully opened.

We couldn't see anything from the outside but I was able to reach up onto the slide roof from the inside and picked up pieces of glass. Long story short, the ceiling light puck lens fell onto the slide roof while in tow...., well, you know the rest of the story.

No damage to slide roof or seal, but the slide had to be re-aligned do to the one end being jammed. The realignment process was fairly easy with the top mounted slide drive motor(s) set-up.

Thanks for replying , I did put it up and turned it but it is still loose and comes back off if you look at the lens their is one more notch after it turns right that locks it into place just can't get enough pressure to turn with the palm of my hand . Maybe I should try one of those rubber pads for opening jar lids ?
