I have delusions of parking this beast in my garage. Considered the long bed and a drw but I think this set up will work for us. I want to stay around 30 to 35 feet with the fifth wheel so I can get in more spots. Camping spots are hard to come by and I can imagine a 40 foot fifth wheel will make things even harder. After my experience with the whitehawk and my Jeep I am very cautious about payload and will make sure I have some margin with the new truck.
It has been a long wait. I really hope they get the truck built in the next week or so. Understand these are made in Kentucky so I hope shipping doesn’t take too long. My brother in law is a master diesel mechanic for ford so I will be going to him for maintenance and upkeep. Got to use his plan for the truck. Saved me enough to put this lariat trimmed f350 into my price range. Thing cost more than my first house.

Drw is definitely the choice for towing but it was just too much for us. We do a lot of driving around when we camp and I used to borrow my dads old 7.3L to tow with. It was a beast but I think it damaged my kidneys driving it around without the camper on it. I m sure they are better now. For what we plan to do I think we are set.
That is going to be an awesome truck. Hope the expedite the assembly. It has been a long wait for us.

She’s in my driveway. Spray in bed liner from line x on Tuesday and a retractable tonneau cover. Already put weathertech floor mats and mud flaps on it.
