Replacement rear stabilizers for X17z

The rear stabilizers on our 2013 X17z were bent when I bought the camper, and I may have made them worse this past weekend. Yeah ... I'm the moron who raised his tongue jack to hitch up, but forgot to raise the stabilizers. In my defense, I didn't go far before I realized the error, and probably wouldn't have done any damage if they weren't already bent. I don't think I made them too much worse. The ones I have are still usable (they touch the ground, which is really the important thing) but at some point I should replace them. Any recommendations for which ones to buy and where to buy them? Money is a bit tight and we're going into the holidays, so I don't want to spend too much buying absolute top-of-the-line. Replacing them with the same stabilizers will do just fine.

Bonus question: After looking at the existing stabilizers, it looks like it will be really easy to swap out new ones. It looks like I only need to remove three bolts and they should drop right off. Am I missing something?

Prolly not too hard.

I know the stabilizers on my TT are held in by 4 self-tapping screws. Unwinding past the rust will be the hardest part.

You may want to consider new fasteners. #12-24 or 1/4-20 bolts with self-locking (nylon insert) nuts will hold real nice. And snap off perfectly when you have to change them again in 2022.

It should be a simple replacement. Bolt pattern should line up. Check the BAL website.

Is this the same thing?

Bal 23026 Stabilizing Jacks 1/pr

I noticed they don't come with the foot pads. Do I just transfer the ones from my existing stabilizers?

The original configuration of my TT had the rear stabilizers mounted below the bike/cargo tray and a long way back from the rear axle. Even the slightest incline, think gas station entrance, caused the stabilizers to drag. Needless to say I replaced mine a couple times. Very easy job, maybe 10min side.

Ultimately I got rid of that Cargo Tray, added a 2" receiver, and raised the stabilizers higher so they won't drag any longer.

If you have enough clearance, they Harbor Freight.

Scissor Jack - 1-1/2 Ton

1.5 ton and $20. Even cheaper if you use the 20% off coupon from the Sunday paper or website.

Thanks. Those look like they would hang way too low.
