Got a call back yesterday that my lights are in. Stopping by Burtons on the way home Saturday to have them replaced. Was told 1-2 hrs wait time.

I just called Jayco with my VIN and my 2017 JayFlight SLX 265RLS was built in March 2017 and was not part of the recall.

I have the same situation and it will cost me $100 for them to come to my campsite (the dealer). I called Jayco to complain and they said too bad, if I want it fixed for free I have to drag it back to the dealer. I'm seriously thinking about trading it in and going back to Forest River. I've had several things wrong with my 264BHW. quality control is nonexistant.

If you are that unhappy over a $100. mobile trip you should trade that puppy and get what you want.

Does any manufacturer send a tech or mechanic to any destination for free to handle warranty work?

when we got our new camper told the dealer we were going to pack it in seasonal site. only 5 mile from them told them to check over real good because it was going to cost me extra to get it parked. I asked them about the recall around the 1St of may they didn't know about it two week later they called about the recall call three week ago they call to tell me my light were in told me it cost me for service call told them just get it done should be done by the first it BS that they are going to charge me 10 or 20 dollars a mile to come out and change them. Jayco to me has gone down hill after they were sold we have owned 3 camper all Jayco but this one had cuts in the sofa couldn't see till you sat down Jayco will not fix still trying to get heat into bathroom have to see if he can fix that or not. maybe last Jayco I buy.

I received a call from the dealer yesterday letting me know my lights were in. Took the trailer in today and they replaced them all. I dropped the trailer off and they called me about 1.5 hrs later to pick it up. Crestview RV in Selma, TX has always been good to me.

I spent more than that on beer yesterday. You want the dealer to drive out to your camping spot for free?

As if forest river would do that.

Well I just got my trailer back from dealer. Dealer only replaced 7 of the 13?? they told me that the recall was only for the lights attached to the ceiling. not sure why the same lights attached under cabinetry won't burn up the same as the ones attached to ceiling. I'll be calling Jayco on Monday! I included some pics.

DiggerDan...My letter from Jayco specifically stated all LED lights were to be replaced. I took my trailer to the dealer and they did replace all 16 LED lights. My suggestion would be to contact Jayco and asked them to pull up the information on your trailer and if indeed more need to be replaced have them contact your dealer.

All 20 of mine were replaced Friday. Outdoor kitchen and pass through are on a wall. The only difference I saw in mine was 2 extra LED's were added to the board. Assuming the ohm load is lower now to compensate for the heat.

Does this apply to a 2016 x23f? Or just 2017s? Our LED lights have had probably hundreds of hours of use over the last 16 months and seem fine, never feel hot...

3 scans are in order.

Would like to see someone post details/pictures of the replacement LED's as mine have not been swapped yet.
Dropped the JayFlight off at RV Canada this morning for the LED Recall......
Would like it back today but likely tomorrow or Friday. Don't know the sense in booking an appointment more then 4 weeks in advance.

Will post everything done with comments and pictures.

You can email Jayco service with your VIN. They got back to me the same day.

Well, picked up the JayFlight from RV Canada today.....8 days after dropping it off on the 28th of June for a booked appointment 4 weeks prior. Wow.... So much for booking ahead and what should have been a 2 hour job to change 18 lights.
They started and finished today. Took 3 hours and after inspecting the job only 6 of the 18 lights were changed and there was a mess of clips, wire bits and insulation all over.
The new LEDS are better so far in thermal performance. I posted a picture.
9 LED's vs 6 LED's on the old and the new board has a metal backing.
Will post pictures of it.
Tomorrow I will be calling Jayco direct and RV Canada to resolve the issue of the job only being 1/3rd done.......
Off to Newfoundland Saturday. Will keep the lights off.
