Crack in fiberglass
I own a 2014 264bh with the fiberglass package. When checking the roof seals today I discovered a 2 inch hairline crack in the fiberglass starting at the top of the front panel where it meets the roof extending straight down. I bought the unit new in July and it is scheduled to be taken in in December to be looked at for warranty repair. Has anyone had a similar issue with their camper and if so what was done to repair it. I have full confidence that this will be repaired under warranty - just wanted to know what to expect.
Thanks,
Kevin

I had a spider web crack in my fiberglass. The dealer said it was from a screw that was over tightened. I never noticed it, but when it was in for warranty work, the technician noticed the crack. They called me and told me about it. They sent it out for repair. When I picked it up, I could not locate the repair at all.

My 2012 Avalanche fiver that I traded in on my Jayco developed a crack about 3 ft long at the bottom corner where one of the slide outs was installed. They had to take the entire unit back to the factory, removed the three slide outs on that side and replaced the whole exterior wall as it is one piece, 40 ft, from end to end. Took about 3 months total. After that I traded it in.....the dealer where I traded it in said would have to deduct $5000 for crappy repairs.....roof had lots of ripples in it and edge wavy....I informed them that they did the repairs....at their north store...they were the responsible dealer....they gave me the original trade value after their faces turned red....

I have a 2012 HT 26.5 RLS that developed a small crack on top of the driver-side running light near the top of the cap on the front of the FW in the first summer we owned it. Took it to the dealer and asked about a repair, they contacted Jayco, and Jayco sent an entire cap plus decals to replace it, not repair it. I asked them to look for structural problems, they said there were none.

Update: To the dealer's surprise and mine also, Jayco approved replacing the entire cap. We'll see how it turns out when they get it done!

Only problem we had was with the dealer, he wasn't able to put the decals on properly and had to order them again. They are currently in my garage and I'm not sure I will ever put them on. Don't care if I advertise for Jayco or not.

If Jayco sent you an entire cap plus decals and you were very happy with the way they treated you and your attitude is " don't care if I advertise for Jayco or not", well that's a first. If you think your capable of doing it then you should and praise Jayco for taking care of you they did their part.

Picked it up yesterday from the dealer... They replaced everything on the front including the diamond plate, trim etc. I also complained about rust on the frame, suspension, stabilizer jacks etc and Jayco approved to have it repainted. Everything looks good now! No complaints with the way Jayco handled everything.
