Ice cubes belong in mixed drinks. They will find themselves in the black tank shortly after

In my opinion.....no! Your better off using the wand with the flexible hose and spinning nozzle on the end. I've used it for years and no problems. The last trip of the year, we will visit a park with full hookups and spend some extra time cleaning the tank and filling it 2-3 times until the water comes out clear. I have inspected the inside of our tank with a fiber optic camera after cleaning using this procedure, It was 95% clean. That's good enough for me.

Using water softener and detergent works better than anything else I've tried. Use plenty of water and after dumping, add back 5 gallons or so with 1/2 cup of Dawn and 1/2 cup of water softener. The sloshing of it all while going down the road cleans it pretty well. If it's really bad it may take a few times of doing this. I tried the ice thing and it didn't work for me... and someone made a YouTube of it proving it doesn't work...

So... as said above... Ice just needs a little bourbon... and it's all good!

If the "stuff" in the black has been allowed to dry out the ice cubes work great if you dump in a full bag and then tow on a curvy road. It knocks the "stuff" loose.

Watch the video in post#1.

It is questionable that it works.
