Floor board heat in the passenger side

Like many other Class C rigs, the passenger floor board has a tendency to get warm under the passenger's feet. I looked under the coach and noticed the exhaust pipe is right there.

I'm thinking of using Exhaust Wrap around a four feet section of the exhaust pipe in an effort to cool that spot under the coach.

Has anyone made any attempt to resolve that temperature issue on the passenger's side of the floor board.????

I have used Titanium heat wrap from DEI which can be bought at your auto parts store. It was very good I found under very extreme conditions. Here is a link to where and what it is. Advance Auto Parts: Search Results for dei titanium heat wrap

I had same issue,I removed the carpet put down a layer of insulated jute then put carpet back down, then I wrapped the pipe with header wrap, also put a piece of stick on insulation on the underside of the floor above the pipe area I got that from Summitt Racing.Great results no more burning foot for my wife and the cab is cooler too.

Same issue, I ended up going "under the cab" on the passenger side and put it along the path of the heat source ....Happy Wife..Happy Life !
