Greyhawk clearance
I know that the clearance for a Greyhawk is 136" (11' 4") without the "optional" AC. The AC is under foot but I'll say the total height is around 12' 6".
When you're on the road what bridge height minimum do you avoid or what clearance do you like to keep?
The reason I ask is that we are planning a Fall trip to Williamsburg and the Outer Banks. I'd like to go through the Shenandoah National Park on Skyline Drive. There is a bridge there with a 12' 8" clearance and I'd rather not cause a massive backup. My initial thought is to not go through the park.

Per Jayco's Website:
Exterior Height with A/C 138"
138/12 = 11'5".
I don't have mine yet, so I'm assuming the specs are correct.

Is that including the AC and vent covers?

Well it says exterior height with A/C so I'm assuming that's with the air conditioner roof unit. If you have vent covers, see how much taller (if at all) than the A/C unit and that would be your max height.

Personally I would measure the total height. Find a flat, level spot. Measure from the ground to the roofs edge. Then measure from the same point on the roof to the top of the AC. If you need to, use a 4 foot level, to extend outer edge of rage roof, if it is bowed.

I will get measurements on the MH and the AC.
That said how much clearance do you allow for a low bridge or low overhang?

That's what I had to do on my Winnie.

I measured our Greyhawk on a flat spot using my surveyor's leveling rod. It is 11' 6" to the top of the A/C unit.
Knowing that height, I would take it through something with 12' 8" of clearance, but I'd go slow.

Dont sweat it. I drive for a living, They always account for snow and give it a couple inches. If your 12'6 and it says 12'8 I wouldn't worry. Think about all the trucks and bridges that say 13'6 and there is always a couple inches above there trailer

I own a 2015 Greyhawk 31FK. It's spec'd at 11'6". I recently came upon one of those older rounded concrete bridges wit sign stating "12'10" at center". I straddled the center line to the frustration of cars trying to come in from the opposite direction and proceeded sloowwly. Made it through OK. I do hate the way they put the height restriction signs so close to the bridge. By the time you can read it, it could be tough to back up and abort.

We measured our TT and noted ALL dimensions (w/wo TV, w/wo slides out) on an electronic (phone, tablet) Post-It along with a physical Post-It stuck in our Rand McNally Deluxe Motor Carriers' Atlas that state-by-state notes "restricted routes, low clearance, and weigh station locations". BTW, we physically measured and our TT height w/AC is 10.5' ( verified by Jayco specs).
