Steps not working

Anyone have issues with the auto steps just stop working? Mine started making a noise like the gears were stripped then is just quit. No noise, no nothing.

The only thing I know about them is that in the Greyhawks they run off of the coach battery so make sure it is fully charged. Maybe try starting up the truck to see if the battery is weak.

Mine started making a clunk noise when closing replaced the gear box, the gear shaft holes in the gear housing were worn as the curved linkage swivel joint quite as a mouse now. That motor is the window motor used in door of a Ford Tarus car, sometimes the plastic gear inside strips the teeth off
