Water pump surge

Looking to solve a water pump(pressure) surge problem.
I have a 2005 Greyhawk that I replaced the water pump in a year ago, replaced part number for part number and brand, but since then I have experienced a steady surge and low pressure.
any ideas?

Possibly a loose fitting on either side of the pump will cause a pressure drop, hence the pump will kick on. Just a thought..

If you have a Shurflo Revolution 4008 pump, there are adjustment screws on the head. Here's a video of a fellow who had pulsing in the shower. It may help.

Thanks for your time, I was sure it had to be on the suction side as the pump never ran with faucets closed. But you reminded me that the problem was a leak as it seemed fine when first installed, so after researching I fount the hose fitting on the bottom of the tank where the water is pulled from to the pump was almost a 1/2 turn loose. Seems fine now but will have to give it some real use to know for sure.
Thanks again!
