2014 jayco 375bhs questions

Hello all. My name is Rob and we're purchasing a 2014 jayco 375bhs. First camper we've ever owned. We're pulling with a 2008 f350 dually. Was wondering if anybody pulled with a dually and can offer some insight. Also was wondering about cost of camper. Been searching here in Mo., but was wondering if I should take the hunt further. Thought this forum would be a great place to start.

I have a 2014 375BHFS and towed it from Indiana to Missouri with a 2011 SRW Ford F350 diesel. Truck handled it just fine getting it to my seasonal site, but if I was planning on towing it much, I would want AT LEAST a DRW as she is a heavy girl..
We ordered ours from one of the factory direct websites (3rd time we've done so in the past 4 years) and saved several thousand dollars. Would have loved to bought it through one of my local dealers, but none were able to get close to the price we paid.

Hey Rob,
Check out RVDirect for pricing. It will give you a starting point. You can ask for a price and get a response in about a day. We bought our first (a HTT) that way and I used them to get pricing for the second (a 5th).

For certain the dually will offer much more stability with the extra width as well as the extra bed weight capacity. They are very wide for driving and parking when not towing, your dealers keep extra rear fenders in stock! LOL. You don't pick up any towing capacity, in fact you loose just a little due to the extra weight of the extra components of the dually. If you were going to tow a lot a dually is the way to go!

Welcome. I tow with and 03 F350 Dually and IMHO the only way to go is with DRW for this size unit. I added RIde Rites which make a nice difference in limiting the spring action. It was level prior to doing it, but I just wanted a little less bounce.

We bought a 2011 and 2012 365BHS from RVDIRECT and picked up in Des Moines. 2011 was destroyed in a tornado so we ordered a 2012 to replace it. When we saw the 2014 375BHFS, made an immediate decision to buy one. Shopped RVDIRECT as well as The RV Express and RVDIRECT offered me $2000 less (for the 2nd brand new unit I had bought from them in 2 years) as RV Express did. Having bought from both places, I would definitely recommend them as easy to deal with, and saved me several thousand over the closest quote from a local dealer. Process was extremely simple and the folks I dealt with were friendly and professional.

I just picked mine up from RVDirect on Wed. What a great unit! They were awesome to throughout the whole process. Pricing was much better go to their website -- they will shoot you a quote in like 2 minutes. Dually is the only way to go! I drove it back to Omaha from DesMoines with no issue (35-40mph crosswind). I can't wait to take this thing out to get things organized!

Bought my 375 BHFS last summer in Michigan. Drove from Northern Alberta, Canada to pick it up. Almost 7,000 kms round trip. My GMC Sierra 3500 with single rear wheels handled it like a champ. Even pushed it up to 80 or 85 mph a little on the US interstates to see how she would do. Not for long mind you but just to see how everything handled. Pretty spendy on fuel at higher speeds but felt solid the whole time. Had a great trip. Saved a pile of cash. Absolutely love the unit. Can't wait for our season to start up here.
