Awesome!! Love that your first trip is to Disney!!! I am curious about the door side storage/kitchen compartments.. On our 2017 we have the large storage compartment door then a smaller kitchen door.. Yours has 2 doors the same size.. Is there a larger fridge?? Would love to see pictures of the inside of that compartment!

Enjoy your new 5er!!!

Cheers

I don't know...the new models have a lot of things included that I had to do a mod for. Maybe I should've waited for a 17 model [emoji3]

I was at a show recently and talked to a factory rep and he told me about some of the things coming in '18, mostly minor but a few that it's making me question what I am saving by buying a '17.5 (we put money down to reserve it) and if I should just wait a few months on a order for '18, right away would cost me 5k more on the unit over the '17.5, plus hope they still give the same on our trade.

When we walked the unit at the show, we heard a popping noise from the floor near the recliners, the dealer thinks it's minor and can easily be fixed but makes me nervous buying a unit that already has floor issues. Especially after have a previous unit that had to have major floor work done because of de-lamination.

Share what he said was new.
I HATE this time of year! Now my rig is two years old.

There was a long list of them but the major ones, which he said were all still pending.
- Mor-Ryde Steps
- Large Stainless Sink in galley
- Stainless sink in bathroom
- Struts on lift up cabinets
- Light above stove
- Wide fireplace (instead of the rectangular one)
- Power reclining chairs with heat and massage with heat/cooled cup holders
- Larger window behind recliners
- and a bunch of small changes
- Some floor plans receiving glass front cap

Oh ya. I love the glass cap on the Montana. It looks great on the inside.

Well Duh! On the struts. What the heck is wrong with those guys?
That just irks me.
I hope the mor ryde steps are an option. I can think of a hand full of times I wouldn't be able to get into my rig if I had those

The steps are defiantly not an advantage to me, but I am seeing a lot of manufactures adding them saw a ton at the show.

The struts are must for me, but I saw the posts earlier and if I do the '17.5 I will add them.

Originally I was looking at a '17 and wasnt sold until I saw the '17.5 with the new LCI controller and new stove. Then I heard about the '18 features and the ones that got me were the power recliners. Found would cost about $1,200 to add them later. So to save $5k now and add them a year or two down the road it might be worth it.

I forget he also said the residential fridge is now standard as well as the second ac.

Those heater/massage seats sound nice to me! And the best part is the cup holder keeps your beer cold!

Those sound like some nice improvements. How about a strut on the door to the outdoor kitchen? That latch is a real PITA. With heated/message seats and cup holders, I'd never leave the camper!

Wouldn't the magnet latch be better for that door?
My friends Keystone Bullit has a huge kitchen door with the magnet.

For the smaller door like we have, yes the magnet would be fine. But for the bigger door that's on the newer models, they should have struts, just like the basement door. Jmho
