Gap between floor and sidewall

We have a brand new 321RSTS. We have had several problems with it already, after only 2 trips with it. I think I found another problem tonight. But, since this is our 1st 5th wheel, I'd like to find out if this is normal or not.

There is a gap between the floor, and the wall, that I noticed in the bathroom. Between the shower, and vanity. The basement door was open at the time, allowing light in, which is how I saw it. I can also see daylight coming through between the floor, and wall, between the steps and bedroom on the other side.

Normal, or just another problem on a brand new unit??

I knew it couldn't be right. Nothing else on this trailer is. Absolutely ridiculous. It has some other serious issues already. The factory needs to have this one back. We didn't spend the money that we did just to have a rebuilt trailer. I expected some minor issues. But, didn't expect any structural, or quality of construction issues.

Sure would have been nice if the factory could have built it right the 1st time......

Take pictures of these areas and send them to Jayco and start to make a file of these problems for your protection. Don't rule out legal help, you worked to hard to spend your money on major problems like this. We're not talking about a crooked cabinet door or a window that's hard to close.

I'll be sending the dealer, and the factory, pictures tomorrow. I've sent them several pictures of the other problems already. The kitchen slide has daylight at 3 corners, with one being a significant gap. That wall of the trailer also flexes so much that it continues to pop screw heads off of the rain gutter, and seal mount.

There are several other problems as well. I keep pushing Jayco to trade us, or give us our money back. The dealer wants no part of attempting to make repairs. They can tell by the pictures how screwed up it is. Jayco has offered to make repairs. In their words "it will still be new". No, it won't. At this point, I am not sure if there's a stopping point as far as repairs go. I guess they could strip it down to the frame and start over......
