I'm going to assume you've tried more than one dvd.

Mine would do that, or more often a DVD would load and play for 10-15 minutes then just freeze. I had the unit replaced under warranty...my only warranty claim by the way.

I have been looking over the unit in my ( after 6 years, of use) and found a FM antenna input on the back with nothing attached. Today I hooked up a smart TV flat antenna to it using a coax adapter and will see if it does any better with FM stations on this trip.

We have used this radio for years and that is my only complaint other than it is not user friendly with all the buttons. Also the remote won't work unless the cabinet door is left open. I have been reading up on ir amplifiers and such. With my hearing, it's no need to spend good money on new speakers.
