lippert rear stabilizer jack problems
I was trying to adjust the back electric jacks yesterday. They ran for a 1/2 a second and stopped. There seems to be no power to them at this time. I am suspecting an inline fuse because I looked at the panel and all the fuses look good.
Does anyone know the location of the fuse on a 2011 Jayco Eagle 321RLTS.

On my trailer (in sig) the rear stabilizer jack power does not go through the fuse box. If I remember correctly (and I'm not sure I do) there is a breaker (one of those that is supposed to re-set automatically after it cools off) right near the switch and motor at the rear.

I have the same issue and would be interested in any resolution you find.
Something to try - do you notice the same thing if the trailer electrical is connected to the truck and the truck is running? ie: wondering if this is only when you are running on pure battery or all the time.

It is actually plugged into campground power. I have a seasonal site and like to reset the rear jacks every couple of weeks. Cannot see where if I have it plugged into the truck it would make any difference.

Do you have a DC meter or test light?
Take the switch out,touch one probe to one of the wires on the switch the other probe to the frame,it won't hurt to check both wires this way.
If you have nothing from either wire you have a problem ahead of the switch
If one wire shows 11 -12 volts or the probe lite comes on,then you have a problem with either the switch or some where from the switch to the jack

Those type rocker switches are prone to oxidation on the bare copper contacts and they don't self clean very well. I have had this problem (several times) and in most cases it took rocking the switch to clean a spot on the contacts.

I looked at mine just now and do not see anything around the motor. I would remove the 2 screws that hold the switch and see what is behind there. Not much else to do until you determine if you have power to the switch.

On our 2012 Eagle Superlite 31.5RLTS there is a relay mounted on the frame rail right near the switch on the back of the frame Check if there is power to both sides. Could be the relay failed.

He's right about the rocker switches. They are not much for quality. We had to replace the switch in the first six months. Sometimes it would work sometimes not. The good news is they are easy to test and replace!!

I have the power stabilizers as well but also have a crank which seems to work quite well too.

We have the electric ones for over 2 years with no problems. The switch is in a small door that seems to keep it out of the weather nicely.

I took mine in for service recently and they determined that I needed a new motor all together, and since I'm under warranty still - they covered it free of charge. In the mean time I'm just putting them up and down manually with the crank.

I recently have had the same problem. Two weeks ago I tryed putting them down and they worked slow at first then they just stopped. Later I tryed the jacks and they went part way up and stopped and now they won't work at all. The fifth wheel is still under warranty so I guess I'm taking it to the shop.
