Mystery Parts
We picked up our new 351 RSTS almost two weeks ago and so far, everything is good. One thing we did find (and missed during PDI) was that under the bed, there is a box with an air mattress and a plastic bag with some parts that I've no clue what they're for. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of the parts and the trailer is now several miles away in storage.
There are two black steel plates about 14"x8"x1/4" with holes in each corner, two black plastic brackets, and two other things that look like folding braces that may slide on to something else.
Does anyone know what these things are for and where they go?

The first thing that comes to mind might be the swivel grill bracket that attaches to the rear bumper??? It sounds like something you have to assemble.

Do you have a sofa bed? The blow up mattress on ours was stored in a box with the pump and accessories . We leave ours on the bed folded up.

A simple phone call to the dealer may just provide the correct answer

We didn't order a grill with ours and the rear sofa has recliners on both sides so the air mattress really threw me for a loop. I picked this vehicle up in Des Moines and so far, I have not been impressed by RV Direct this go around so I'm not real confident I'll get a satisfactory answer. Last time our experience was very good... This time, not so much.
There is what appears to be a TV bracket installed in the basement close to the door. I've yet to figure that one out so maybe they're related. When we went through the PDI, the tech said he thought that bracket was an alternate location for the outside TV but it seemed to be in a strange spot and I didn't give it a whole lot more thought.
I'll try to get out there tomorrow and get a couple of photos.

The flat plates and the T-shaped parts could be the unused bases for the televisions.
I had to assemble a bunch of flat panel displays at the office and those pieces look similar.
The hinged pieces?

Thank you guys...
TWP: Given the air mattress also found under the bed and unexpected, I wondered if it had something to do with the sofa also but I thought the recliners and air mattress were mutually exclusive.
Mike: Like I mentioned in a previous post, there's another strange bracket mounted on the wall in the basement close to the door. It looks like a TV bracket but all three TVs in the unit are mounted already. I'm still at a loss as to what these things are for.

What I said is that the flat plates and the T-shaped pieces were shipped with the TV's. If the TV's were simply placed on a table, they would need a stand to keep them upright.
It looks like the T-shaped pieces would be mounted centered-perpendicular to the flat plate. Those are rubber/plastic feet on them, aren't they?
Then the top of the T is secured (slipped into) the back of the TV near the bottom.
See if there are markings on the parts that are the same brand or logo of anything else in the rig.

I agree with Mike's theory, I bet the base of T lines up with the 4 holes in the big plate

Mike and Filthy, that does make sense. Yes, there are rubber feet on the plates and it does look like the holes in the T's line up with the holes in the plate so I see where you're coming from.
It'll be a relief to know they're just spare parts due to the TVs being mounted differently.
Now if I can find out what those other two things are... one says L and the other says R on the circular part that may pivot. I'll look more closely next time I'm over that way.

Our basement has a bracket on the rear wall on the door side. We were told its a TV mount. I think the bedroom TV has a release allowing it to be moved there. Haven't tried tho.

Our Pinnacle came with a TV mount in the basement and it was designed to remove the one from the bedroom and mount it in the basement. We did not like that idea so I replaced the half of the mount in the basement and installed a swing arm mount I got on Amazon for under $20.00. Works great and do not have to fool with moving the TV back and forth. Not sure that explains your situation since you have another outside TV.

Being an Electronics/ TV/ Satellite dealer, the 2 bigger pieces are the bases to 2 TV's, two pieces middle right are the brackets that attach to the bases then the TV's, not a close up enough picture on the other 2 pieces, but I suspect they are wall mount brackets that would be used if the TV had a larger bolt pattern.

You guys have pretty much convinced me that those plates and brackets are spare parts since the TVs are wall mounted. Also appreciate the information on the bracket in the basement right next to the door. If I were going to use it, I'd buy a swingarm too but since we have another TV in the outdoor kitchen space, I really don't see a reason for that either.
Thanks all!
