Pulled our 2018 Eagle 292RKDS Home Yestrrday

It was a 350 mile journey to our dealer, Haylett RV in Coldwater Michigan and I have to say our buying experience could not have gone better. We went out Wednesday, and we dropped off our batteries and the kingpin adaptor for the Anderson Ultimate Hitch. Thursday we received an excellent overview of our campers systems by Norm from Haylett, then we proceeded to hook up our camper. I am extremely pleased with how that went as I have 9" of bedrail clearance and full 90degree turning. Our Salesman, Gene Cutler, was extremely helpful as was the entire staff, and we got on the road about 3:00 yesterday. We pulled into town about 9:00 last nite. I am very pleased with my ride, and our 14 2500 Ram Cummins got 12.5mpg on the return trip.
(Over 26 on the way to Haylett). We went over the camper very closely and are delighted with the workmanship. Click image for larger version

Sweet, congratulations! We love our 2017 293RKDS! Please post some inside pics. Did you get a booth or table and chairs?

They changed some things since our 03/10/17 unit. The shower doors are clear glass. The bathroom sick color/pattern is different. The fireplace is completely different. They added the backsplash to the kitchen. The kitchen faucet is different. The front cap looks different as well.

Does your cabin fan require shore power? My manual says 12v but it's not working. There is Romex to the switch. Can't check voltage easily the way the switch works. It worked at the dealer with shorepower

Cabin fan as in the ceiling fan? it's 120v, not 12v so it will only work when on shoreline. Mine has a wall switch and the chain pull to select the speeds. It also has a switch on the fan for forward or reverse. Always check the chain pull isn't caught up in the fan blades. Mine does this every trip and I have to untangle it.

What options did you order? If you have any questions, let me know. We've had our 293 since April 26th and have 9 trips in. We have another trip next week. We have also done some mods as well.

Yeah I wish it was 12v but than again we rarely use it. My trade had a 12v. My 5th wheel prior had 120v.

Thanks Earl I will. We ordered a 2nd ac, dual pane windows, and the larger frig. I think it's a 12 cu ft. Not sure. That's about it though. At least that's what I remember. I added two group 29 batts. Now trying to determine cords needed to run my Honda generator

That would be the 12 cu ft. The lady loves the 12 cu ft. Up from the 8 we always had.

I also added (2) 27 batteries and kept the 24 that the dealer installed. I also installed my battery selector/disconnect switch so i can pull from the pair of 27 or the 24. Like to keep the 24 as a backup.

South Central. Right in the middle between Breezewood and Gettysburg. Both are about 30 miles from me. I live off US 30.

I thought so, I couldn't remember how I knew that. Anyhow we love that area of PA and have a couple kids not too far from there. If we come down that way with our camper we'll let you know. Thanks again.

You said you had 9" of bed rail clearance. Do you have a 2 or 4 wheel drive RAM? We have the 2014 4-wheel drive and have been a bit concerned as to how high off the ground the bed rails are. Thanks.
