Reese Hitch on my 5th Wheel

I have a 2017 Jayco Pinnacle with a 2" receiver on the rear of the unit. Can anyone tell me what it is rated for or how to find that information?

Thanks!

Tim

Look on the hitch, next to the receiver tube. There should be a sticker on there that will give you the info you're looking for.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

If it's like mine on our Eagle, it's 300 lbs tongue weight, and 3k towing capacity.

Check your manual too. Mine had specs in there as well.

300# tongue weight rating on mine as well, but I didn't trust it so did a lot more welding.

Many take them to a local welding shop and have them beefed up to make it stronger. Much better to have more even if you are only carrying 300 lbs.

The hitch on my HT is also rated for 300/3000. I towed with it last weekend but don't trust the minimal support it has so I'll be adding gussets and support before our next trip
