Security Light

I am having an issue with the security light on my 2012 36REQS Pinnacle. It has had this problem since I bought it this past November. The problem is, I can turn the door side security light on with the switch but I cannot turn it off with the switch. I've taken the 3 wires completely off the switch and the light still burns. The only way I can turn the light off is by switching the battery disconnect switch off. Also I can turn it on with the remote, but it will not turn off. The wall switch checks good, so I suspect the problem is on the main control board behind the panel in the underbelly. Has anyone seen this problem before??

We do not have a security light, currently. But, I was looking at an aftermarket one. The one I looked at can be used as a regular light, too. If I am reading the instructions correctly on it you have to turn it off for 15 seconds for it to revert to normal function. I am sure in messing with it you have had it off for extended periods of time. But, I though I would throw that out there just in case something simple like leaving it in off position for a minute, making sure no one is in the range to trip the security feature, (then maybe on and off again) would "fix" it. Hopefully someone has a real answer for you.
