I'm new to the forum and to Rv'ing, and I've got a newbie question. We've just bought a 2016 Jayco Eagle 355MBQS - going to pick it up sometime next week. So the answer to my question maybe in the owner's manual, but I'll ask anyway. Ours has the LCI Level-Up system installed. So when I store it should I run the jacks down and level the unit? My thinking is to take some weight off the tires and springs, but wondering if maybe the jacks don't even take enough weight off to matter?
I don't think your going to find an answer for that in the manual. I don't think you want to store it leveled with the level up system. The manual cautions you about even using the trailer for an extended period of time or near salt water environment because of the risk of corrosion to the exposed legs.
It may not hurt it I guess but I would generously coat each one with WD 40 every couple of weeks.
I have never seen a dealer store/show units leveled with stabilizers down. Usually just the jack or landing gear.
