Add me to the leaker list
Uncovered it a couple of weeks ago. Went back out to the storage Friday to get something from inside - glad I did - found water on the floor and couch under the TV antenna crank. Took the crank assembly off from inside and found the water was not coming down the shaft, but from somewhere else around it. Went on the roof and found that the cable was sealed good. I found one crack in the sealant that I hope was the culprit. I cleaned things up and resealed the entire assembly again. We never use the antenna, so I sealed up the swivel as well. I need to get some silicone spray and pull the shaft out spray it down. Hopefully I got it...
When you reseal places on the roof that have small cracks and such, do you just put another coating of sealer over the old? I did, and extended it out a bit more onto the roof membrane. Is there a point when you have to totally remove old sealer and start over?
