Colorado ideas? Cold Springs?

Hi All,

We've left our booking a little late and now all the CG I'm looking up are full. We're booking in for the first week of June.

All of Rocky Mountain National is full. So is Sylvan Lake, Black Canyon, Cherry Creek, Golden Gate.

We'd like to Boondock and get into some real wilderness with lots of trees.

Cold Springs has lots of sites available which leaves me a bit skeptical. Has anyone been there?

Other options are: Collegiate Peaks, Black Canyon of Gunnison National Park, and Baby Doe.

We're new trailer owners and have a toddler and infant with us so no extreme hiking for us

Thanks.

Thanks Jmooney. I'm noticing a lot of parks I researched a few weeks ago are full now. I'm going to go through a book a bunch of places for our 9 week adventure tomorrow!

While we haven't camped at Black Canyon, we have visited. It is a little Grand Canyon. And I found the visitor center's display on how the canyon was formed fascinating.
