Electric Tongue Jack Lift

I think I am going to buy a Barker VIP 3500 but what lift size should I buy? A 18" or 24" lift?

Go with the 24". Most jayco tongues are high due to the through frame design. We have the 24 and I wouldn't have the 18 on this set up.

Not sure which rig you're putting this on. If you want to see our 24" vip3500 installed I can post a picture.

24" no question really. Between the height of these tongues + the WDH setup most of us are running, bigger is way better (as a general rule). I've come *really close* to running out of stroke on the stock jack trying to hook up on a downward sloping camp spot when I didn't have a large stack of blocks handy. You'll never regret having more than you need.

I'm getting the same jack later this season.

You will never regret buying the bigger one... that way when you buy a new RV you will swap tongue jacks... saves money in the long run...
