Foam for bed?
So without having gone on our maiden voyage yet, we already know we need to add a layer of something to the husband and I's table bed. The cushions on there are nice but nothing for sleeping on.
Does anyone have any recs for a good extra layer we can add for night times and then we can roll up and store when it's back in table mode? I'm assuming by the size that it's about a double size bed.

I'd recommend at least a 1.5 to 2 inch cooling gel memory foam pad with a removable and washable cover.

Not the best plan but a thin air mattress may work.

before we bought our white hawk we had a tent trailer. we used an air mattress, under the so called mattress that came with the trailer and we could adjust how solid we wanted it to be, great sleeps, did that for 5 years.

We are still trying to figure this out as well. We just bought a 3 inch cooling memory foam topper, and in all honesty, we didn't find it to help very much!

2" foam from Target for the queen and both bunks did the job for us.

We bought a Perfect Harmony mattress topper at Camping World. On sale under $200. It is dreamy! Makes a huge difference and made to fit the short queen bed.

We purchased a 4" memory foam topper from Walmart. We put it right on top of the existing mattress. Never had a problem since.

Perfect. Thank you everyone for your tips and suggestions. I will have to go check out a couple stores it looks like to see what we like but I think a pad on top of the cushions is going to be what works best for us

OP, as I read your post you are not talking about a bed, but the dining table turned sleepr. If that pad doesn't do the trick you might just be putting lipstick on the proverbial pig. If you have room to store it in your rig or TV, try a platform with a very thick pad on top of that. That will only help if you like very firm support. Just an idea.
