Heaters issues

I have had my trailer at the dealer 5 times now for heater not working and I am at the point now where I feel like it's a lemon law issue.A little background, heater takes 3 to 5 tries to start, runs for a little then flame cuts out and fan stays running, flame will try to start back up again but the heater backfires a few times and sometimes restarts.if I does stay running it takes over 30 minutes to bring temp up a few degrees. They have replaced sail switch, gas valve, regulator that blew apart off the tanks and still doesn't work.I've asked for a new heater but the warranty work they have to replace parts rather than put a new heater in.I also took a mirror and looked inside duct work and did find a area that was crushed pretty good from when they insulated the bottom of it.Had anyone else had issues like this and successfully had it fixed

After 5 attempts it sure looks like they would just replace the furnace. They are really not that expensive or complex.

I agree, what they have spent in parts and labor over the 5 times has to exceeded price of a new heater

Crabman is right but I think the dealer is getting paid for each part it swaps. My thought is you have a bad thermocouple.

It also seems they are easter egg hunting and replacing parts hoping they get the right one instead of properly diagnosing the problem the first time.
