That seems a bit much for that trailer. I think most WDH manufacturers that offer a range of bar weights want you to be right in the middle for the most effective use. In that hitch's case, that would be a tongue weight right at 1000 lbs.
That far below the minimum might not work very well with your trailer. But in the end, the purpose of the hitch is to replace the lost weight on the front axle. So, you could always try it and see how much weight transfer you get. If you can return your front axle to its unloaded weight (or 50% or whatever the TV manuf calls for) and the ride is good (not excessively rough), I'd say you might be fine with the hitch. I'm guessing it's going to be a rough ride though.
