Jayco 29RLDS slide out question

I have a 2012 29 RLDS. I was wondering IF the motor fails on one of the slides, how do you get them to close manually?
It's probably in the owners book but that is with the trailer and it's not at my house right now.

I have the same trailer layout. Yes, there are instructions in the manual. My manual is 270K away at the moment.....covered in deep snow. Should be a hand crank in your kit that allows for manual movement.

There is a manual crank. It is usually under the trailer by the slide. You should have gotten a metal handle to crank it in. It is in the owners manual. It is hard to do and you can over extend cranking out,not sure about in. You should have a metal handle to lower you spare tire if it is under the trailer. And another metal handle for your stabilizer jacks. If you got an electric tounge jack you should have one for that as well. Lots of metal handles good luck.

You can also use a drill with a rachet socket, I think it might be a 5/8". Until Jayco repaired my back slide out I would sometimes have to give it a couple of turns for the motor to catch.

sometimes you have to release the brake on the slide motor before you can manually crank it in/out. My 2004 describes that procedure in the manual.
