As with anything built by humans there is always potential of issues. Our Jayco has been very well built, with very few flaws. It has been in the shop a few times, primarily for minor things that I could take care of, but with the dealer 15 miles away and I have a warranty, I let the dealer do it. Two of the selling points for me was the mattresses were the best that I found in any brand TT. Secondly I like that Jayco had a two year warranty. To me it shows that they have a commitment to their customers.
As for the floor layout, no one TT is perfect for everyone. What I recommend to anyone looking at new camper is go to the dealership, ditch the sales person, sit in the camper, then start digging through every nook and cranny and figure out where you will put your stuff. I would think this would be the utmost important for those who want to full time, as you have to carry everything with you.
