roof replacement or repair

Hey guys I just noticed I have a few slits in my rubber roof on a jayco designer series. My question is should I attempt to just replace the whole rubber roof with a new membrane or they make the liquid coating which is essentially the same thing should I just mop It on. Whats you guys opinion with this or do you have any other ideas

Hey Wannagetrdone First off replaceing a roof is no easy task. I just finished a 40' coachman toy hauler 2 weeks ago and had about 40 hours in it. I am not sure by your post how big the slits are or how many you have. If they are small and very few i would try and repair them. Has the membrain started to lift from the plywood or is it still glued tight. if it is still glued tight you can get a sealant that comes in a caulking tube that when applied will flow out flat and smooth. same stuff they seal your roof vents with.
