TV Bracket recomendations - J Feather 22BHM

Hello all. Sorry if this was answered somewhere else previously someplace. Our new Jayfeather 7 22BHM just came in and we are picking it up first thing in the spring. We didn't order the TV option (we have one that we want to use in our new camper). Does anyone have a recommendation of a bracket that I will need to secure it to the wall of the travel trailer or if I should contact Jayco to purchase one from them? Also we would like to use a TV on the outside of the camper. I believe there is a bracket on the camper, but will I need a corresponding one on the TV? Thanks for the assistance!

The mounts I don't believe are camping specific. The only difference I see is a magnet that holds it closed. Easily done yourself with a rare earth magnet. If you go to Best Buy or any electronic store they will have the swing away brackets. Around $75. They come with the plate that mounts to your television.

I also didn't go with the factory tv option when ordering our camper. Bought two tv's and two MORryde swivel extending tv mounts. I got the tv mounts off Amazon. Some of the mounts are portable and that's what you may need to move the tv from inside to outside.

TV Mounts - MORryde

We just picked up our 22bhm couple weeks ago, came with lw keyblock on outside. I called lw and am ordering the table mount for the inside and a tilt swivel mount for my garage. This way I only need my 1 tv I take it from garage and move it inside or outside of the camper with one bracket on tv. Makes things very easy I hope.

I know you are anxious and you want everything just right and to be able to use it shortly after you take delivery. The dealer is not versed in AV installation and won't be much help.

Here's a thought: wait until you take delivery to really look at it. Then decide what kind of mounting system will work the best. Monoprice has about the best selection of mounts you will find. Don't just seach on TV mounts, use other search terms like "monitor stand", "monitor mount", etc. For moving the TV in and out give them a call and see what they can recommend. I bet they have a solution. Great prices and very good quality merchandise as well.

It swivels and is mounted on top of the cabinet above the fridge. Easy to see from the front or rear bunks.

As the studs in a TT are basically 2x2, or less really, I attached a 12x18 piece of wood the the wall, then I mounted the tv bracket to it. This is the one I chose. The TV has a metal bracket attached to it, which can be removed from the TV wall mount arm.

My TT is a 2006 Jayco 27BH. I actually removed the "TV" cabinet, then mounted the 1x12x18 piece of wood to the same wall. I just happened to have a nice piece of oak, that I stained to the same color as the cabinets.

The bracket inside swivels the one on the outside does not. I also purchased another mount that swivels and tilts that I hung in my garage and that is the tv that I use if I even take 1 with us when we camp ( i only take it for football or nascar). The mount is very well made and secure.

X2 I really like the service I got from them but you have to sign up to order merchandise. Very strange they don't just allow orders from the public.
