What kind of slide mechanism on Jay Flight? White Hawk?

What kind of slide mechanism does Jayco use on their Jay Flights (2017/2018)? Same question for the White Hawk? I've searched their website and I can't find where it says if it is rack and pinion or not.

Depends on model, type of slide, location etc. You can bet they're all lippert though. Any specific reason for the question?

I asked because I was reading on an RV forum that you should buy a model with a rack and pinion slide mechanism and avoid the cable system. I'm trying to research the 2018 Jay Flight (27BHS) and the 2018 White Hawk (29BH).

No cable systems on either that you mentioned. Should be flush floor rack / pin with the 2 rails.

My Jayflight uses a rack and pinion system with a gear under the slide to move it in and out. I "think" the Whitehawk uses a Schwinntec system, still no cables, but I am not clear on how it works.

My 2017 White Hawk 28 DSBH is rack and pinion too. The 2012 Prime Time Tracer that we're trading in has the cable system. Honestly, it has never given us a problem and has never needed any adjustment or repair.
