Holding Tank Size
I have a 2010 JayFlight 25 RKS G2 model. How can I find out what size holding tanks it has? Can't seem to find it in the owner's manual. Do I have to crawl under trailer and look for a size?

This link will take you to Jayco's Product Archive. Select the year/type of RV/model of your rig and you can see its specifications & floor plan- including the tank capacities.

Enjoy!

Thanks justpassin and FPM III. Both sites had the info needed. Never realized how much I needed to learn about a travel trailer. Thanks to Grumpygp too.
Thanks,
Brad

Wow, wish I had a 65 gallon gray tank. Mine is 32.5. Have an 82 gallon fresh water tank which is funny because gray and black add up to 65 gallons so when they are full I can't use the other 17 gallons of fresh water. Down the drains anyway

Anyone know how to find out this info for a 1993 Eagle Series 265 FS? The Jayco archives don't go back that far.

If you can get the height, length and width, there are web sites that can compute the capacity. Look at a holding tank supplier for details.

Holding Tank Size
In that case, I would fill them up till they are full and dump the water in 5 gallon buckets. Then you will know and your lawn will love you.

On our 2014 x23b all the paper work said the fresh water tank was 29.5 gal. Fill it up for the first time a few weeks ago and seemed to take forever. After we got back, sent an email to Jayco with the vin #. They responded in just a couple of days and said that we had a 49 gal tank.

I am in the same situation. 1998 Jayco Eagle 283g. Cannot find the capacity of holding tank or gray and black. The dealer did not know it either.

Good suggestion I would first fill just the fresh water tank and drain it Then use that water to fill the gray tank then drain and use that for the black tank. May require a little more work but may not waste as much water doing it that way.

Old thread resurrected!
As opposed to filling a tank and draining it into 5 gal buckets to determine capacity, get a hose and fill your five gallon bucket and time how long it takes. Turn the spigot the same rotation every time and use the same hose, and you'll know based on time how much water you've flowed.
Mine is: Spigot opened up 180*, takes one minute to fill a 5 gal bucket; so my flow rate is 5 GPM. I use the same spigot and the same hose each time.
Now take that known flow rate and fill each tank to its max, and use the time to tell you how much you put in there. Bingo, you know your capacity exactly.
