IMO leaving the WDH connected is ok, but the TV/TT combination ideally should be relatively level and straight (minimizes added forces on the WDH). I wouldn't recommend opening the slides (if you have any) under these conditions.

You mean leaving it hooked to the TV? Should be fine, but you could always put down the tounge jack to keep the weight off the TV. I do this on quick overnight stops when I don't feel like disconnecting.

I have left mine for a few days. I put down my tongue jack to help stabilize it and it takes a little bit of the load off the truck. I don't see where it would hurt.

I can't imagine that the pressure of the TT resting on the hitch could even come close to the stresses placed on it while drive. We leave ours hooked up for overnight stops or overnight at home when we're going to leave early the next day.

We always leave ours hooked up on our way South and North. It is usually 3 to 5 days each way.

Well that begs the question - what do you do when you travel East and West?

Why would anyone ever go East when you live in the WEST?...
