Taking Delivery of our 2014 266 RKS Jayco Eagle TT
Thanks Brownie,
We have had ours since July 6, 2014 and been out 3 times for 5 days each trip.
We pull ours with a 2011 Ford F150 4X4 with trailer tow package suspension, increased cooling package and it has the 6.2 engine. We have a Leer cap on it.
It pulls great. We actually get better mileage ( about 1.5 mpg ) than we got with our 24 FBS, even though the Eagle is heavier. It also pulled our other Jayco trailers (2010 22FBS ) very good as well.
I added the Barker vent kits to the ceiling vents as my wife could not reach them. We do enjoy the high ceilings and the privacy door for bed room (she likes to get up early and I like to sleep in). I also changed the shower head to one that had a shut off at the showers wane. Also changed the water pump to a variable displacement pump as I did not like to constant cycling of the pump when you just slightly open a faucet. I want to change to LED bulbs to reduce the amp draw on the converter. it seem the fan runs excessively hard when all the over head light (controller by the main switch) are turned on. Don't get me wrong we love our 266 RKS Eagle. Just adding a few personal touches.
