We have a Wedding in Hastings Mn this summer and not finding very good reviews for any campground nearby. Does anyone have a suggestion? We are not big on the State Parks due to not having full hookups available.

Lebanon Hills, in Apple Valley it's a Dakota County Park. "Great place". You can reserve on-line.

Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground

Never been there myself but I have heard it's pretty nice. It's not that far from Hastings.

Dakota Meadows RV park, it is part of Mystic Lake Casino. Full hookups and a clean park. Free shuttle from the campground to the casino.

We have stayed there several times with family.

Dakotah Meadows RV Park

Hope this helps.

I have not stayed at Lebanon Hills but have only heard good things.

Cheched out Lake Elmo Park Reserve, just north of 94 and east of 494. Only one thing bad about this park, they do not let you have dogs.

You may also want to look at St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park. We go there 2 times a year and like there sites for $30.00 a night.

We have a reservation at Lebanon Hills in July. Full hook-ups for $38! We'll be coming back from Wisconsin and stopping in St. Paul to see a friend.

Lebanon Hills and Lake Elmo book up fast for the summer. St. Croix has no amenities/boondock camping. There is a Koa between St. Paul and the Wisconsin border, nothing fancy.
