Honestly, if the trailer is kept in a barn and out of the elements, it is probably best to simply leave the windows and roof vent open. I had an older trailer before my Jayco, and it had a slightly musty smell when we first bought it. We had 2 roof vents (one front, one rear) and some jalousie windows by the dinette. We left the roof vents open (had covers installed on them) and left the jalousie windows open about an inch. That was sufficient to have airflow 365 days a year. Musty smell was gone within a day or 2 and never came back.
Rather than pay for electricity, or risk fire, or have to worry about dumping humidifier buckets, perhaps the OP might consider simple ventilation.
