I find it is worth having if you are retired only. The discounted rates only apply to weekdays. I find the restrictions on "Notes" are becoming more and more. One day or two day max. Not accepted May thru August. It is better in the south like S.C. I have it because I know CG that accept it everyday as long as you want to stay. They are out there. If the campground is empty on Friday just ask if you can stay at PA rates

If you look at a map of PA campgrounds you will notice that most of the campgrounds are in clusters or off the beaten path. No campground owner WANTS to give away half of his camp fee. He feels either competition or remoteness of there location puts them at a disadvantage. Thats why when you notice them in clusters, CG owners felt that they are going to lose there share of the pie to there neighbor. Thats why there is all the "notes". They get on the band wagon but limit there loses.

We full time and use PA whenever possible. It has more than paid for itself and I can't recall having a bad experience. They do send a lot of emails though.

Yes we use it a few times a year, if you stay 2 days per year it is the cost of the membership for the year. You get 1/2 off a nights stay some places allow up to 2 weeks some 2 nights some only allow you to use weekdays but if it that works for you buy it and save some $$$.
