Thetford Soft Close Seat
I think we have the aqua magic style 2 china bowl toilet.Anyone know where you can find a soft close seat.Nothing at HD works! Thanks

Damn, it's tough out there in the wilderness.
We even have to lower our toilet seat by hand, it's that rugged!
(for the sarcasm-impaired,,, that was it...)

We have had good luck with finding replacements in Target stores. And they are reasonably priced as well.

Do you have the Aqua-Magic 2 toilet. The specs say it’s 15 inches across and that toilet seat is 14 1/8 inches across.

I changed my Thetford out to a 310 Dometic. I had an extra slow close seat and it fit right on the new potty.
It's a necessity if you have them at home because the slam noise gets old if it's not on all at home and rv!

I agree. The Bath Royale BR620-00 white fit my Thetford. Didn't like the plastic nuts. Used rubber washer, stainless fender washer and stainless 1/4 X 20 nut on the bottom side.

Hmmm...we bought one from Lowes and it wouldn't fit. The hinge on the back of the toilet gets in the way of bolting it on.

Thetford Soft Close Seat
Tried one from Lowes also. It fit, but was a open gap between seat and hinge. Bath Royale was perfect fit. Plus has push button release for removing and cleaning.
