Electric tongue Jack

My tongue Jack was working fine 2 days ago. Tried it today and it’s raising and lowering at a fraction of the normal speed. What would cause that?

Low battery. Are you connected to shore power or your truck?

Could be a loose ground as well. Also check the frame grounding point to ensure it's making good contact.

To my truck. Thanks I’ll check the battery. I wouldn’t think it would drain in two days but might have a bad cell.

Depending on your truck, you might not get a much current to charge your battery.

The newer F150s for instance only provide a trickle charge to the battery. The F150 cannot "charge" your battery, it can only maintain the level that it is at when you connect it to the truck.
