New owner

Hello all
I'm a long time camper, first time camper owner. We inspect our 2018 Eagle HT 324BHTS tomorrow. Take it home next weekend. Any advice? Any common broken or missing items I should look for?
Thanks.

Congratulations on the first time RV ownership and welcome to the forum.

On this forum under General Jayco RV Chat there is a 'sticky'
Sticky: PDI (Pre-delivery Inspection for purchasing RV's) Checklist
That should be of some help.

Welcome from Wisconsin. Congrats on and enjoy your 2018 Eagle HT 324BHTS ! Use that Sticky Link above and do thorough PDI. If there is anything not right have them fix it before you hand over $. We went thru our Hummingbird (our 5th camper) a week before scheduled PDI and found a couple small things that needed attention. Gave the list to our salesperson and he walked out to the camper with us so he could make sure he knew what needed attention. PDI came and bango, everything a was thumbs up!

Congrats on the new RV. It's such an exciting time picking up the new home away from home. Hopefully the dealer has done their job and during the PDI you'll find all systems are good to go. Take your time, flip every switch, turn every knob, open every door, stick a DVD in the DVD player, heat some water in the microwave, check frig and A/C temperatures, make sure everything's aligned when the slight goes out and when it comes in, etc., etc., etc. You want to leave the dealer at least knowing everything worked when you left his lot.

Make sure all openings to the exterior are sealed up. Especially those through the floor which they tend to miss on at the factory. Congratulations!
