New to RVing & Jayco

Hi guys, I've just purchased a new to me 2005 Jayco Jayfeather 21j. I'm pretty excited to get into RVing because I've been camping all my life and now that I've started a family I figure this is the best way for us to spend our vacations together. I'm hoping to get many years of memories with the trailer and I look forward to all of the good times we'll have in it. We'll mostly be camping in the North East near home but we do plan to do a trip to Disney and out west in a few years. I joined the forum in hopes to find a place to ask questions and get information as I continue to learn about my new trailer. It took me a long time to find this trailer because so many used RVs are in poor condition but this one has really been cared for by it's previous owner and looks as good as it did when it was manufactured. Here are just a few photos on my new home away from home.

Great find and good luck with it and I have a mod for your kitchen that you might like. You have a free space for a silverware drawer that will come in real handy. I removed the electrical outlet and just moved it to the left, removed that panel and made a deep drawer for the silverware. Next I made the 3 other drawers deeper and much longer so they would be useful. You'll find out after your 1st trip that those little drawers are just about useless.
I removed the lower panel near the floor then unscrewed the 3 mullions ( 2screws on each side), moved them down in order to accept the new drawers I made. as you can see I removed the stove and put the microwave in its place, it slides right in.made a cutting board and just use my butane stove when I need to cook inside.
Any questions just feel free to ask.

The first thing you need to do is fix the microwave cabinet on the lower right hand corner, don't ask me how I know this. Next remove the AC cover and check the 4 bolts ( 1 in each corner ) they compress the AC unit that sits on the gasket and they loosen up from time to time and can cause a leak.
