Welcome Aboard.
There are lots of good hitches. Most import is to get one with an integrated sway control. I have an Equalizer E4 WDH. I like it, it is easy to use.
Most people will recommend installing aftermarket mirrors that look like the stock towing mirrors. I have Milenco Aearo. I find them easy to use, minimal vibrations. Only bad part, every time you put them on you do need to adjust the mirror angle. But I can see all the way down the side of my TT.
As for tips for the RV, get a small note book and pencil and keep it in the TT, to record all the things that you forgot, or want to add/change. First campout do close to home. Lots of people like to driveway camp. I like to go 30 miles or so from home.

Have fun

Welcome to the Forum from Western New York State!
We tow the predecessor to your TT with an F150 also. Same floor plan, two feet shorter, and a corner bed.
We also have the Equalizer hitch, and like it a lot. Weight distribution and sway control in one. I also have a set of the Milenco mirrors that we used on our previous Tundra. I did find that the mirror housing on our F150 is double thickness versus single thickness on the Toyota mirrors. We had the drivers side mirror blow off from an oncoming dump truck, and hit the pavement behind us. They are terrific mirrors, but that incident prompted me to get a set of KSource Snap&Zap mirrors. These will never come off until I take them off. They don't extend out as far, but are acceptable to me, and should I break the glass on one, they're replaceable.
