We never pull into a gas station. On auto all the time.

It was made to be used, if someone chooses not to that is their prerogative.

hubjay8-- I always run mine for 2-3 days on 120v at home while packing & then on gas while traveling. Just to be sure it's on gas I don't set on auto, DON'T WANT WARM BEER WHEN WE GET TO THE CG. Larry

Propane here - and no stress at gas stations. My TV starter is way closer to the pump - and makes a hell of a spark (as they all do) when it starts the vehicle. I don't think a small flame on the trailer has ANY chance of starting a fire at a gas station. Some call me crazy
