potable water tank

I just bought an 05 Jayflight 23FB When fill the water tank the water runs out two hoses underneath the camper , what is wrong ?

If your tank is full when this happens those are the overflows.

First, welcome to the forum.

Have you made sure the low point drains and the water tank drain are closed before filling the tank?

Nothing. This is called the "siphoning effect". When you fill the tank too quickly the air can't escape fast enough so the water comes out the overflow tubes.

Get yourself a water gallon counter. If you have a 40 gallon tank, slow the fill rate way down when you hit 35 gallons and it will not siphon nearly as much.

it was overfilling & the reason it didn't pump was the clear hose valve (under sink ay pump) was open, it sucked air, I guess they had it open when winterizing
