I forgot to add that the best part about the park was that we had no cell service...both with AT&T and Verizon! IMO site 44 is the best site...get it if its available. It's right next to the playground...it's deep and wide. We had site #33 and it was a beautiful site, but I had to slide the hitch for the 1st time to get out. I had to pull a branch out of the way with some bungy cords to keep from hitting the rubber roof. Just my .02 cents.

I have been doing a number of things to our Jay Feather 25Z that we bought last year.

First I removed the single towel bar in the bathroom and replaced it with two new ones. I also added a towel ring and tooth brush holders. The plastic fan broke when it was turned on so I replaced it and the screens and inside vent trim on all three vents. I have the gaskets for the top of the roof vents and will install them when the weather permits. I installed two battery operated LED lights on the front pass thru. I also repaired the tv shelf and trim on the wheel well where it had pulled loose. I still have a number of small things to do yet.

We are full timing in our brand new 29.5BHDS. The temps are now warm enough to run water, so we tested out the tank and pump as well as city connections this weekend- found the pump was very loud and only held down with 1 screw....re-mounted it and it's much quieter. Also silicone lubed all the slides, stabilizers, door latches and lock mechanisms...everything works much better now!

Also ordered a new Maxx-air fan for the bathroom, 2 vent covers, mud flaps, and some Meguiar's spray wax.

Picked up the precept 31ul on Saturday. Three recalls done, drawer under range repaired. Drawers and doors kept flying open and they put heavier latches on them, another leaking window replaced and the keyless lock replaced. The tech said never trust the keyless entry, always keep a key on you. Now we are waiting for new glass shower doors. We will take it to Highland Hammock SP in Sebring, FL this weekend and cross our fingers. Thankfully we have the two year warranty.

I replaced a bent saddle of my weight distribution system. I talked with 2 camper dealers, a friend and the manufacturer and they had no clue what would cause it to bend like it did. The manufacturer sent me a new pair for free so I'm golden

Added a Voyager WVOS541 rear camera

Took advantage of the "pre-wired for camera" on my brand new 23RB. Pulled off the center running light and fished around for the pair of unused wires. I only found the 12v wire and did not find the return. I ended up tying into the return of the running light which works fine. Did Jayco start only running one wire now or did I just not find it? The camera seems to work fine at home. I took it about 200 feet away and the signal was low but I could still clearly see the picture. Will be taking it out the end of this week for our first overnight and will report back on how it works driving down the road.

Storage check. We had some "interesting" weather move through here the other night, so I wanted to make sure all was still well with ours.

A few miles down the road, some RVs got piled up from the wind and totaled. Big mess.

Ours was still "tucked in tight" just waiting for us!

We're at risk for some of that "interesting" weather this Friday. Glad your trailer was OK.

OK, I admit I have been lazy, but for the past 2 months I have been on a full hook up site, but when it was time to dump the black tank it was just too easy to pull the handle and follow it up with the same from the gray tank and ignore the tank flush system. My excuse was that my hose was still in the truck and in the front of the bed so I would have to roll up my cover to get to it. Isn't that being terrible lazy or what?

Anyway, yesterday was the day. The flush worked great, I didn't die from the extra labor to get the hose out of the truck. It did take a couple of extra flushes to get things looking good again. I always fill the tank for 4 minutes with the valve closed and then open. And I NEVER leave while the filling is taking place. After a couple of months of "tank neglect" I feel better again. Still lazy however.

Opened it up and started to re-arrange and organize stuff. Re-arranged items in the front cargo area. Hooked up to the new TV and took it for a road test. Love the handling with the new TV. Haven't De-winterized yet. We still have some cold days ahead.
