Inspected exterior seals then washed it before moving inside and starting to get things cleaned up and organized ahead of our first trip later this month.

Made a storm door so we can leave the door open if it’s not too hot at the beach.

Blew out all the water lines, finished emptying her out, gave her a quick rinse and took her back to storage.

Did you replace the lights because the grommets were bad? I just replaced the grommets and kept the original lights [emoji3]

I did the whole light assembly this time...I had 1 rear marker light out. The last time, I only replaced the grommets. I also used the Wagu electrical nuts to make replacement easier down the road.

Is there any trick to getting the lights out?

I just pulled the light out with pliers and removed the grommet.

I was able to modify my windows on my 2018 29MVP. There is a plastic strip on the bottom of the window that acts as a stopper for the metal swing arms. I didn't want to disassemble anything so I heated up a flat screwdrive and used the tip like a knife to cut off a piece. It went through the plastic like a hot knife through butter.

The modification let me open the windows about 1 1/4" more. I'm sure you could cut more off but I didn't want them to swing out too far.

The pictures are the before and after.

Put in the battery, and started to put some stuff in it. Removed the A/C shroud, and gave it a good cleaning. Getting ready for our first trip next week. Whoo Hoo!!

Me thinkest ye 'ol arse is getting harder. Had the foam in the seat cushions for the dinette changed out. Went with more support to increase the comfort coefficient

It couldn't possibly be the paper thin foam that Jayco uses... Could it??

That’s sweet! Was your trailer “pre plumbed”? Would love something like that but we can’t afford to lose the drawer space.

No is was not pre plumbed but that was the easy part. I wanted it up high so had to move a smaller drawer down. Had to do a small amount of trimming on one side and build the box for it to sit in.

Cleaned out a large starling nest and then installed a pin box cover.

Installed the AP Products “Thin Shade” windows in both the doors of our 2018 Jay Flight 28BHS today. Such a worth while mod if anyone is thinking about installing them. The shades block more light than the factory privacy shades, it is very sunny today and it darkened the rooms tremendously. Plus it’s nice being able to see out the door window now when the shade is up. The tinted windows match the rest of the windows perfectly. Installation is pretty straight forward and fairly easy. There’s a few good installation videos on Youtube.

That's a nifty idea. All set to order one from Amazon after my wife and I watched some YouTube installation videos, then she says "How do you open or close it from the inside with the screen door closed?"
Well, that is a good question. I still think I will order one just so I can go one up on my neighbors RV! He is a "mine is better than yours" kind of guy, so I'll show him.

Question, did you use any sealant around the outside frame?
