Replaced the GPS tracking unit. One of our daughter's called us last week wanting to know why the trailer was sitting in the middle of Lava Beds National Monument but we were parked at the RV park near McArthur, CA. Appears the tracker just up and died. I emailed tech support who responded within 20 minutes with a couple troubleshooting items that confirmed the unit was no longer functional. A replacement was sent no charge and waiting for me when we got home.

Pulled my FW a short distance with some sharp turns and uneven areas to see if my new Back Flip cover would interfere with the front camp. All good.

I replaced a circuit breaker that wasn’t letting anything through from my solar panels to the controller. Now it’s working as it should again.

Replaced the deteriorating material at the top of the seat backs on each bench of the dinette. Lubed the leveling jacks, changed engine oil & filter. Installed air foil in the plenum of the rooftop A/C. Extension on inside rear tire won't take air, pulled the core, shot a little WD40 in, still nothing. Thought about pulling the outside tire myself and replacing the valve core(s) but as sometimes discretion is the better part of valor and I don't have a torque wrench the correct size, am taking it over to let someone who's both better equipped and more knowledgeable handle it.

Glued a seam in the bedroom wallpaper that had separated. While I was at it, I removed the valance over the window and tightened the L bracket holding it to the wall. Had to use a couple of toothpicks in the holes to ensure a good grip on the screws. Boy, putting the valance back up is a bear! Every time I do it, I wish I had three arms!

Changed the headlights to LEDs (thanks to a tip found on this site), loaded more organization bins, clothes and some food. Washed sheets that will ultimately become the new cab curtain and duvet.

Started reading this thread - holy schmolly!!! I’m only on page 11.......

Started pre-tripping for our trip to Texas; took on 60 gallons of fresh water, topped off the cells in both batteries, turned on the fridge, & water heater, tested the furnace and AC, tested the brake away switch and aired up the tires. Just need to add food and clothes, hookup and go. Reservations made and confirmed, one being at a Love’s travel center that has full RV hookups. Ready, set, GO!

Tires on MH had only 20k on them but were 2015's so replaced them with Michelin XZE's all around. Had one piece rigid metal dual seal valve stems installed, replacing the dumpster fire two piece stems and extensions on the original tires and which had made checking and adjusting TP a literal pita. Had to enlarge the holes on the rear wheel covers with a roto-zip to accomodate the new valve stems but not a big deal.

Starting to empty the TT out for the winter months. Lots more to do before we put it hibernation for the winter.

Saddest time of the year, isn’t it?

Very sad. Summers are short, and winters are too long.

Found that someone was interested in stealing my sweet Furrion televisions. Or maybe the Keurig. I joke, but pretty irritating to find your trailer messed with.

At storage or your residence?
I always thought getting into a RV through the entry door would be hard to do... unless they broke the glass first.

Other than cleaned up after Ira I dried out the RV!!!
60 to 80 mph sustained winds with rain(horizontal) I spent the day drying some areas inside the camper. Oh ya, this went on for over 14 hours plus, a slow moving 'cane!!
Here are the pics and areas the driving rains got in. Surprisingly the slide seal had NO leakage at all.
Also, none off the windows leaked!
I'm in the Daytona Beach area.

It's not hard at all...I've picked the deadbolt lock on mine with a basic kit. It would have been nice if they just picked the lock...then there would have been no damage!
